About: Base 6 is a digital marketing agency focused on building and executing successful campaigns on the 6 most fundamental pillars of the digital space.
They treat every aspect of digital marketing with a great deal of importance so I felt it appropriate for each B6's departments to receive their own emblem. I pictured each department operating as their own autonomous team, sort of like the houses in Harry Potter that work separately but unite to make Hogwarts- except this agency makes its magic through marketing campaigns and results. Powerful on their own, but something even more impactful when united- meet Base 6.

The B6 website was designed with the client and consumer in mind. the team wanted a sleek and modern website that was very simple and focused on showcasing its prowess in the digital sector. Since this is a very young agency, they wanted their website to showcase their talent, and knowledge in DMK, and create a sense of ethos by introduce potential clients to their unique way of operating, and their contemporary thought process to creating growth and success.
I wanted the site to feel youthful and still have a bit of an aggressive edge to it- kind of like looking at a Porsche. That idea of progressive forward motion inspired the site's non-traditional horizontal orientation and navigation. It's also why the imagery on the site is exciting and vibrant which contrasts well with the dark background. That contrast can also be found in the large and rambunctious title headings paired with smaller body text.
While talking to the original members I found out that they all played cards when they first met at a college party, and that coincidental meet up eventually led to the founding of this agency. I found this very endearing and tried to incorporate it into the movement of the site- which is why each screen transitions like the shuffling and flipping of a card.
